Web Designer

Job Description: As a web designer, you will be responsible for designing visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet the needs of clients. You will work with clients and team members to understand project requirements, create wireframes and mockups, and implement designs using HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in web design, graphic design, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first approach
- Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress and Drupal
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with design principles and tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
- Familiarity with web development frameworks such as React or Vue
- Ability to convert designs to code and optimize for search engines
- A portfolio of previous design work showcasing creativity and technical proficiency
- Experience with JavaScript and jQuery
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements
- Create wireframes and mockups that align with the client's branding and design guidelines
- Implement designs using HTML, CSS, and other web technologies
- Ensure website designs are responsive and mobile-friendly
- Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure websites are functional and user-friendly
- Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members throughout the design and development process
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the user experience and achieve project goals
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs are accurately implemented
Would be a plus:
- Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices
- Familiarity with user experience (UX) design principles
- Experience with e-commerce website design and development
- Experience with animation and motion graphics
- Ability to create and edit multimedia content such as images and videos
- Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques
- Ability to create custom graphics and illustrations
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira or Trello
- Familiarity with website analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics
